Our home is situated in a leafy residential neighbourhood, within easy reach of the nearby towns of Edgbaston and Solihull and is easily accessible via car, with ample parking on site. Public transport links are also good and we are just 8 miles from central Birmingham.
Lucton House is a residential care home, providing support for people living with a range of differing health needs, including those living with early to moderate dementia. We offer care on a long-term, or short-term and respite basis.
Unlike other care homes, Lucton House provides unique living accommodation for their residents, in self-contained apartments that feel homely and welcoming. Care and support is on hand around the clock here at Lucton House, but our apartments allow our residents to retain a sense of independence that is often missing when living in a care home. Every furnished apartment features a living space, a separate bedroom, bathroom facilities and a small kitchenette, although all meals are provided by our helpful and talented chef and kitchen team in our dining room.
There is a lovely communal lounge with enough space for everyone to gather for the regular entertainment offered at the home, and other communal features such as a retro shop and hair salon ensure that our residents have everything else they need to live well whilst in our care.
Another benefit of living at Lucton House is the dedication and commitment of our established team of carers and nurses and ancillary staff, many of whom who have worked at the home for over 10 years. This consistent staffing allows our residents to get to know the people who are caring for them, and form longstanding friendships.
