Welcome to
Vine Lodge Care Home, Hillingdon, London

  • Introduction

Each of the 8 single occupancy flatlets offer a spacious environment, equipped with an accessible ensuite wetroom, designed to promote independence.  Vine Lodge also offers generous communal spaces, including a lounge, dining room and a kitchen.  There is also a pleasant walled garden offering residents their own calm space in nature to spend time as they wish, to relax in a safe and secure environment.

We operate a model of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) where staff work with specialists and key stakeholders to enable our residents to have the best quality of life. PBS is a person-centred framework for providing long-term support to people with a learning disability, and/or autism, including those with mental health conditions, who have, or may be at risk of developing, behaviours that challenge. It is a blend of person-centred values and behavioural science and uses evidence to inform decision-making. PBS helps us understand the reason for the behaviour so we can better meet people’s needs, enhance their quality of life and reduce the likelihood that the behaviour will happen.

Vine Lodge is ideally located within walking distance of a wide range of shops, eateries and necessities like banks, community centres and places of education, allowing our residents to easily access the services and amenities they need to maintain their independence.

We are fully committed to ensuring the individuals that we support are involved in their support plan, and can make choices about not only their care, but lifestyle too.  We actively seek to ensure that we provide opportunities and encouragement to enable people to reach their goals, whatever these may be, and give them the skills and tools needed to achieve them.
