Our wonderful residents, relatives and team members at Lucton House Care Home came together for a wonderful Easter celebration filled with laughter, music and plenty of time spent with loved ones.
The home was decorated for the occasion and residents enjoyed an afternoon of entertainment, refreshments and Easter-themed activities. One of the highlights was seeing families joining in alongside residents, helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the home.
Heather was delighted to be joined by her granddaughter, Lillia, who took part in the celebrations and spent quality time with her grandmother and fellow residents. Moments like these are incredibly important, giving families the opportunity to relax, enjoy each other’s company and continue making memories together.
At Lucton House, maintaining strong family connections is a key part of the home’s approach to care. The team understands that the people who know residents best are often those closest to them, and encouraging families to remain involved in daily life helps residents feel supported, comfortable and connected.
Events such as the Easter celebration provide a valuable opportunity for residents and their loved ones to share experiences together in a relaxed setting. Whether it is taking part in activities, enjoying a chat over refreshments or simply spending time side by side, these moments help strengthen relationships and contribute to overall wellbeing.
The team at Lucton House is always looking for ways to bring our wonderful residents, families and staff together, recognising that a sense of community plays an important role in creating a true home-from-home environment. Seeing different generations enjoying the afternoon together was a lovely reminder that some of the most meaningful moments are often the simplest ones.
Everyone at Lucton House would like to thank all involved for making the Easter celebration such a special occasion.
