Our wonderful residents and our team at Lucton House came together on Wednesday 17th June to celebrate Father’s Day with a lively afternoon of music, dancing and delicious treats.
To mark the occasion, we welcomed back singer Lorenzo, who previously performed for our residents a couple of years ago. Our residents were delighted to see him again, and his performance soon had everyone singing along. Lorenzo created a wonderful atmosphere that encouraged many to get up and dance, including Susan and Bill, who enjoyed sharing a dance together. He took the time to perform for each resident individually which added a special touch to the afternoon.
Here are just a few of our favourite moments captured:

The celebration also included Father’s Day themed cupcakes and beautifully decorated tables, making the afternoon even more special. Our team members Hannah, Tamanna and Carlos joined in the festivities, alongside the majority of our residents, helping to make it a memorable occasion for everyone.
Our residents were full of praise for the event, describing Lorenzo as a “great singer” and thanking our team for organising “a great party.” Our Activities Coordinator, Hannah, also shared how pleased she was to welcome Lorenzo back, commenting that he was a “really great singer” who helped make the afternoon so enjoyable.
At Lucton House, we know how much our residents enjoy live entertainment, particularly from familiar performers who take the time to make every person feel included. Celebrating special occasions like Father’s Day gives our residents the opportunity to come together, enjoy meaningful moments and continue making happy memories with the support of our caring team.
