At The New Deanery, we love finding opportunities for our residents to get out and about, enjoy a change of scenery and stay connected with the local community. Recently, a group of residents enjoyed a lovely trip to The Bell Inn in Panfield, a traditional country pub and restaurant.
The outing gave everyone the chance to relax, spend time together and enjoy a delicious meal in a welcoming local setting. Our wonderful residents tucked into their chosen lunches before treating themselves to some tempting desserts, with plenty of beverages on hand to wash it all down. Unsurprisingly, the food and desserts were a real highlight of the day but here are just a few of our favourite photos captured from the day:

Days out like these are about much more than the meal itself. They give residents the opportunity to remain connected to the wider community, visit familiar places and enjoy the simple pleasures of everyday life. Whether it’s chatting with staff at local venues, seeing what’s happening around town or simply enjoying a meal somewhere different, these experiences help keep life varied and meaningful.
We are fortunate to have so many wonderful local businesses and community spaces nearby, and we always enjoy supporting them while creating special memories for our residents. Seeing the smiles around the table, sharing conversation and laughter together, made the day a great success.
As one member of our team reflected, it was wonderful to see the smiles on our residents’ faces throughout the outing. We are already looking forward to our next adventure together.
