We love a good singalong here at Queensway House, and our recent music session gave our residents plenty of opportunities to enjoy some of their favourite songs!
On 21st September, around 15 residents and team members joined Mansi, our Activities Coordinator, for a session combining familiar music, singing, dancing and musical instruments.
Mansi put together a selection of songs from eras our residents know and love, encouraging everyone to get involved in whichever way they felt comfortable.
Some residents were keen to get up and dance, while others enjoyed singing along or moving to the music from their seats. We also brought out the drums, shakers and tambourines, which proved popular with everybody!
Here are a few of our favourite photos from the session:

One of the things our residents particularly enjoyed was recognising songs they hadn’t heard for a while. Some shared memories that the music brought back, giving us the chance to learn a little more about their favourite songs and experiences.
Mansi was pleased to see so many residents getting involved, whether they were dancing, singing or trying out the instruments.
At Queensway House, we know that everyone has different interests and preferences, which is why we aim to offer activities that residents can enjoy in their own way.
Music is always a popular choice, and sessions like this give us a chance to bring together familiar favourites, a little movement and plenty of opportunities for our residents to get involved.
A big thank you to Mansi for organising the session and to everyone who joined in!
