Our summer BBQ is always a lovely opportunity to bring everyone together, and this year’s celebrations at Partridge House were no exception.
On 14th August, around 50 residents, relatives, friends and colleagues gathered in our garden to make the most of the sunshine and enjoy an afternoon together.
We had burgers on the grill, music in the garden and saw plenty of familiar faces.
In the run up to our Summer BBQ, our team had been busy preparing a BBQ spread of burgers, hot dogs and fresh salads, complete with some creative food displays that added a little extra personality to the occasion.
And once everyone had enjoyed something to eat, there was plenty of music to keep the afternoon going with a live singer who performed a selection of classic hits, with residents and carers singing along and taking to the dance floor together. Others were happy to sit back, enjoy the entertainment and catch up with family and friends.

For us, that’s one of the nicest things about our summer celebrations. Everyone can enjoy the afternoon in their own way, whether they’re first up for a dance or prefer a good chat over a burger.
A Big Thank You from Partridge House
Our Summer BBQ was a real team effort, from preparing the food and getting the garden ready to organising the entertainment and making sure everyone had what they needed.
A huge thank you to our team for all their hard work, and to the families and friends who came along to celebrate with us. It was lovely to see so many people enjoying the afternoon together.
At Partridge House, we want our home to be somewhere residents can enjoy their favourite things, spend time with the people who matter to them and continue welcoming family and friends into everyday life.
Our annual BBQ is just one opportunity to do that, and we’re already looking forward to welcoming everyone back for our next celebration.
