At Willesden Court Care Home, we are always looking for new ways to enrich daily life for our lovely residents, introducing activities that encourage engagement and moments to enjoy together.
On 15th June, we welcomed Coco for our very first Pet Therapy Session. As Coco brought so much love to the team from Transputec, we knew she had to meet our residents!
Meeting Coco brought back lots of fond memories for our residents, with many sharing stories about the pets they had owned over the years. Christina particularly enjoyed spending time with Coco, and by the end of the session, several of our residents were already asking when she would be visiting again. Reflecting on these comments, we could se how much each resident had enjoyed the afternoon.

Our Activities Coordinator, Katherine, was delighted to see the positive impact the session had on our residents. She said,
“I was so pleased it brought back such happy memories for our residents, and they all enjoyed it.”
Our incredible Home Manager, Natalie, joined our residents alongside our team and Olga from the Gold Care Homes team, making it an afternoon enjoyed by everyone across the home.
At Willesden Court Care Home, we know that the smallest experiences can often have the biggest impact. Whether it is welcoming a therapy dog into our home or introducing new activities for our residents to enjoy, our caring team is committed to creating days filled with comfort, companionship and the little moments that make a difference.
