With Emergency Services Day coming up on 9th September, we wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to the people who are there for our community when they are needed most.
And at The New Deanery Care Home, sometimes saying thank you comes in the form of a freshly made bacon roll!
Back in August, our Customer Relationship Manager, Gerald, headed to Broomfield Hospital as part of our monthly Thank You Thursday, taking along a delivery of hot bacon rolls for local ambulance crews.
It was a simple gesture, but one we hoped would brighten a busy shift and let the paramedics know just how much their work is appreciated by all of us at The New Deanery.
Here are just a few photos that we captured from the day:

Thank You Thursday is something we’ve introduced to recognise the people and organisations making a difference around us. Each month, we look for another opportunity to step outside our doors, connect with our neighbours and give a little something back.
Our visit to Broomfield Hospital was all about the emergency services who support people across our local area every day, including residents, families and colleagues within our own community.
So, with Emergency Services Day just around the corner, it felt like the perfect time to look back at Gerald’s visit and say it once again: thank you to our local paramedics, and to everyone working across the emergency services.
From all of us at The New Deanery, we appreciate everything you do for our community.
