Understanding palliative care can feel daunting, particularly when you are trying to make the right decisions for yourself or someone you love. At Queensway House, we want to make those conversations a little easier.
We are pleased to welcome Claire Nicell, Joint Head of Education and Learning and Palliative Care Nurse from The Hospice of St Francis, to Queensway House for an informative and supportive session exploring the what, who, why, when and how of palliative care.
Claire will talk through what palliative care involves, who can provide it, when it may be helpful and why conversations about future care and personal wishes can be so important.
The session will also cover DNACPR and ReSPECT forms, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and learn more in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
