Residents at Manor House enjoyed taking part in a cocktail making competition run by dairy experts Lakeland Dairies and wellbeing specialists NAPA. The competition challenged care homes to host a cocktail party, whilst encouraging residents to get involved by designing and making their own drinks.
Residents Jenny, Babs, Phyllis and Jean made delicious creamy mocktails using Millac Gold Double Cream and fresh fruits including pineapple, plum, pear, kiwi, pineapple and banana, reaching their five a day, topped off with a cream finishing touch.
Millac Gold Double is made with added vitamin D, and real dairy cream from Lakeland Dairies’ family farms across Ireland. Popular in the care sector due to its versatility, professional performance, and great taste, it makes the perfect creamy base for cocktails.
Sarah Harris, Home Manager, commented: “It has been wonderful watching our residents getting creative with their recipes, whilst also benefiting from the delicious nutritional and fruity drinks. Our ladies got in the party spirit and we look forward to hearing the results of the competition.”
