Gold Care Homes Employee of the Year Awards
Overall Winner of Employee of the Year Award Jackie Preshaw from The Tudors Care Home, Peterborough.
Hard work and dedication has once again been put under the spotlight as Gold Care Homes celebrated its second Employee of the Year Awards. Gold Care Homes’ managers, staff and residents gathered together on 25 March 2010 in the Tythe Barn, Tewin Bury Farm Hotel, Welwyn to celebrate the event.
Each of the nine homes owned by Gold Care Homes had asked residents, staff and visitors to nominate employees who for them deserved to be Employee of the Year. Out of the award winners for each home, Jackie Preshaw from The Tudors Care Home, Peterborough, was declared the overall Employee of the Year for the company. Each winner received a trophy, framed certificate and cash prize, with runners up receiving certificates.
The afternoon ceremony was followed by a delicious tea to which a number of staff and residents from each home attended, along with the head office staff and managers.
The directors also took the opportunity of unveiling www.goldcarehomes.com, the new company website.
Gold Care Homes is committed to providing excellent services for dementia care and working its way to become a centre of excellence for dementia care. They recently opened a new 69-bed facility in Welwyn, Hertfordshire which specialises in dementia care, and currently have two new homes under construction in Sidcup, Kent and Feltham, Middlesex.
