Autumn Vale Care Centre Previous Newsletter

 

Welcome to the Autumn Vale’s first Newsletter. It will be issued quarterly to report to Residents, their Relatives and Friends of Autumn Vale on what has been going on in our home and what our plans are for the future. We welcome contribution from all, including our staff and the residents.
Autumn Vale is the newest addition to the family of Gold Care Homes, it opened on 26th June under the management of brilliant Deby O’Hare and on 15th July we welcomed our first resident. The home has a very friendly environment, it consists of three units - Willow Blue where Courtney is the unit leader, Fern led by Mary and Robert and just opened Willow Peach ready to welcome new residents. All of our care staff is highly dedicated and trained and we will ensure that their qualifications are continuously updated.

As soon as our residents settled in our activity co-ordinator Gail organised several outings for them. They visited Mill Green museum, Hatfield House, went shopping in the Galleria and to the local garden centres. All trips were popular and very enjoyable. We are planning to arrange a number of similar outings in 2010. We welcome volunteers to join in.

 As for more personal experience the hairdresser Norman comes in once a week and Adrianne the personal trainer whenever requested.
